How Calls & Support Work During the 6-Week Course

While we’re all moving through Coping With Canines together over the next 6 weeks, here’s how calls and support are structured to help you get the most out of the experience:

 

Weekly Call Themes

Each week, all live calls will follow the same theme, prompt, and discussion topic, based on that week’s course content.
For example: Week 2's calls will focus on the Calm & Coping module.

This way, no matter which call you attend, you’ll be part of the same conversation, and no one misses out.

 

What Are the Different Calls?

  • Live Support Calls – These are the regular calls I host every month in the ongoing CWC Community. These will continue even after your 6-week community access ends.

  • Cohort Calls – These are extra calls happening weekly during this 6-week course window, to give folks a consistent and weekly time to meet. This setup gives you a live call every week for 6 weeks, which can be helpful since the regular community support calls typically happen just 2–3 times per month.

✨ Whether you’re brand new or returning, you’re welcome to attend any call listed in the Events tab — pick the times that work best for you!

 

Want Direct Support? Use the “Ask Jess” Thread!

At any point, you can post a question or situation in the Ask Jess thread to get direct coaching and feedback from me specifically. While I always try to respond to "Struggle Bus" posts too, you'll get feedback from the whole community there, not just me.
Some examples:

  • “I need help setting boundaries—where do I start?”

  • “I'm stuck in guilt. Any tools that could help?”

  • “We had a really hard walk last night. What can I do to cope with it?”

I’ll respond to all posts in that thread within 48 hours (Monday–Thursday).


 

After the 6 Weeks of Community Access...

You will always have access to the course itself. 

But if you’d like to keep the community connection going, you’ll have the option to stay in the community for a low monthly subscription. This includes:

  • Access to the ongoing live support calls

  • Continued use of the Ask Jess thread

  • Participation in discussion posts and resource threads

  •  All group challenges, special events, new resources that I add, etc.
